Anne Connolly is a widely published Irish poet whose work encompasses many themes. She has performed at numerous Festivals and events throughout Ireland and Scotland. A former Makar of the Federation of Writers (Scotland) she is their current chair. Anne believes that poetry is a form of music which must be heard as well as seen.
Mary McCarthy is a renowned pianist and Principal Piano Tutor on the BA/MA in Traditional Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Her work is rooted in Irish traditional music. She has given acclaimed recitals worldwide and performs regularly with a wide variety of musicians. Together Mary and Anne offer a taste of Ireland.
