Mary has hosted 16 Zoom concerts since the beginning of lockdown in March 2020! Mostly of about an hour in length every Saturday during the isolation period. ‘Interest is growing and continuing and we are able to connect with students from all over the world connecting and making music together.’ Participants from USA , Canada, Spain, Russia, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Scotland combining parents, teacher trainers, children and adult students and tiny tots, being in a place where everyone is able to inspire… whether it be people playing repertoire from Rachmaninoff to the Suzuki favourite ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb.’ Common repertoire is the Suzuki repertoire – which has become a universal language including jazz and traditional music.
Another wonderful dimension to this is that grandparents, from across the globe can become involved and watch grandchildren perform.
