Last year I gifted community piano lessons to Pianodrome – a theatre made entirely out of pianos! The Pianodrome was designed and built by musician and sculptor Tim Vincent-Smith to develop the community and provide a space for all artists to learn, develop work and perform. Venues included Royal Botanic Gardens, Leith Theatre and The Pitt. People travelled from far afield from all walks of life to have this opportunity to learn and play the piano in a unique venue, learning about the Suzuki Method and wonderful instruments.
We scheduled several groups lessons throughout the run, during the day and we invited the community to attend.
These sessions were a wonderful success and I look forward to the Pianodrmmes next adventure. Here are some photographs from my time there. You can find out more about the Pianodrome at www.pianodrome.org
